Olive oil taster and producer
Olive oil taster and producer educated and licensed in Tuscany region of Italy, with 11 years professional experience. She is continuing to produce olive oil as the 4 th generation of the family, since 1899. Her expert status is officially recognised by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture and the Region of Tuscany. Her authority to carry out organoleptic analyses in all European Union countries is also recognised by c.o.i/i.o.o.c.
She additional holds an Italian and international “capo panel/panel leader” license according to c.o.i norms. As there is no equivalent system in Turkey Selin was trained by the prestigious Tuscan olive oil experts and panels in Italy, especially trained 8 years with internationally recognized agricultural scientist, engineer, pioneer olive oil expert Dr. Marco Mugelli. She gained her professional experience in Tuscany.
She is also a consultant for the producers about olive oil tasting and quality in Turkey, one of the members of “turkish national olive oil taster group” and jury member for international olive oil competitions.
Selin Ertür is the first professional international olive oil expert in Turkey who is still
producing “selatin extra virgin olive oil”(www.selatin-evo.com)
